From Malaga Airport
Due to Malaga being a large tourist area, the airport understands how the meet the demands of its customers and have made it easy to travel from the airport to your resort
Car Hire
There are a number of car hire companies that operate from Malaga Airport. You can easily arrange car hire at the airport and pay when you arrive, or you can search online to try and find the cheapest deal. This could save you time as the supplier desks can get busy if a few flights land at the same time and if you are travelling in high season, demand for car hire can be quite high.
Buses
Public mini-bus services are on offer to large groups. The prices range from 82 euros to get to Benalmadena to about 285 euros to get to Ronda with over ten destinations around the Costa del Sol on offer. There is also a shuttle bus which can work out cheaper as it takes you to all coastal resorts in the area. However you must book this transport previous to your arrival in the country.
The bus station is present as soon as you leave the arrival lobby. The bus has to stop at several places along the way and people get on and off at these intervals. Ask at the airport’s information desk to get the correct number for your destination.
Trains
The train station can be found outside the international terminal and takes around 12 minutes to enter Malaga city. The train runs from 7am every half an hour until 11.45pm. An exception to this rule is the train to Fuengirola which runs from 6am every half an hour until 10:40pm.
Taxis
The taxis are situated right outside the arrivals lounge and travel to both Malaga city and its surrounding areas. The costs can range so it is advisable to ask the taxi driver for the cost previous to entering the vehicle.
