Summer Weather
The average temperature for the season is in the high 20s where June’s average is around 27°C which rises to around 29°C in July and August. During midday, temperatures can reach into the 30s yet the coastal breezes also provide coolness. Due to the seas surrounding Malaga, the town can also experience fogs every once in a while due to the Saharan winds coming across the Mediterranean. However these fogs can usual disperse before midday. Rain during the July and August is practically non-existent yet June and September sees only an average of 3 days of rainfall. In June, the rain is just a light drizzle yet in September there may some thunderstorms.
Autumn Weather
In October and November, the weather is still quite warm yet is prone to wet patches. October’s average temperature is 23°C whilst November has an average of 19°C. The high temperature means that the beach can be used in the day along with swimming sea being possible. The lowest temperature in this time period can fall to between 14°C and 11°C seeing 9 days of rain per month on average. The characteristic Malaga fog also continues in this period and can be slightly more forceful.
